Congratulations to Michael Shepherd, who took out overall honors at the fantastic second round of WeldWell New Zealand Formula First championship racing over the weekend.
Shepherd continued his methodical consistency from round one, winning an exciting race 1 by only one tenth of a second. He carried on the form through to Sunday, with two second place finishes behind the returning NZ Formula First champion – Ian Foster.
Foster returned in spectacular fashion, almost stealing the show on the Saturday with a massive collision with the barrier. He returned on the Sunday and found the determination & pace that won him last year’s championship, winning both races.
