Manfeild Winter Series Round 1 Wrap Up

The first round of the Manfeild Winter Series took place over the weekend and saw a feild of seven drivers take to the grid.

Here is a wrap up of the action from Round 1!

QUALIFYING:

Brook Reeve claimed pole for the Formula Libre class, with Craig Greenwood second and Rookie Liam Lawson third on Debut.

RACE 1:

REEVE TAKES START TO FINISH WIN IN RACE 1!

Brook Reeve has returned to Racing in winning form, taking race 1 of the Manfeild winter series. Rookie Liam Lawson's first start went to plan and was running second until the final turn when Arran Crighton robbed Sabre of a 1-2.

REEVE ON TOP AGAIN

Brook Reeve has taken race two at the Manfeild winter series! Arran Crighton was again second and Liam Lawson third after a close battle with Liam Foster to the line. SpeedSport Scholarship winner Liam Lawson has also claimed his first pole, starting in the front row in the next race.

RACE 3:

SABRE GOES 3/3 AS ROOKIE LIAM LAWSON CLAIMS AN ABSOLUTE EPIC!!

SpeedSport Scholarship winner Liam Lawson has converted his pole to a race win on debut! Lawson had a drag to the line with team mate Brook Reeve to eventually claim the win by 5 thousandths of a second!! Team owner Dennis Martin labelled the win "Astonishing" the first scholarship winner since Nick Cassidy to win a race at his first event.
